Funding Sources
MSP does not cover Speech Therapy services in British Columbia.
Extended Health Benefits: Most extended health benefit programs will provide some coverage for Speech Therapy services. This amount is usually calculated on an annual basis. Clients would need to seek reimbursement for this through their specific insurance company. I will provide all of the necessary receipts.
First Nations: Many First Nations Bands will provide some coverage for Speech Therapy services. Please check with your specific FN Health Unit to see if your family would qualify.
Private School: Some registered private and home school agencies will provide some coverage for Speech Therapy services. Please check with your specific educational organization to see if you would qualify.
Disability Tax Credit and Child Disability Benefit: You may be eligible for these benefits.
